Jim runs Elite Mobile Auto Repair, a mobile repair business in Morris County, New Jersey, fixing cars in customers' driveways. He was paying $300+ a month for shop software that made his day harder. Joey, a software engineer he has known since middle school, looked at that software and found security holes you could drive a truck through. So they built their own. Quotera is two people with no investors, and one of us answers when you call.

What Quotera is, and who makes it.

What is Quotera?

Quotera (quotera.app) is field service software for small businesses: auto repair shops, landscaping businesses, and one-person businesses in any trade. It runs quotes and estimates customers approve from their phone, work orders, invoices and card payments in your web browser, with scheduling, online booking, CARFAX for auto shops and route planning for landscapers on the team plans. It is made by Quotera LLC, a two-founder company in New Jersey.

Is Quotera legit?

Yes. Quotera (quotera.app) is made by Quotera LLC, a New Jersey company formed in October 2025 by two founders: Jim Halligan, who runs Elite Mobile Auto Repair, and Joey Heaney, a software engineer. The Quotera logo is a registered trademark of Quotera LLC (U.S. Reg. No. 8282617). Quotera is new, so there are few independent reviews yet. Card payments are processed by Stripe, and Quotera never stores card numbers. You can try it before paying, on the Free plan or any paid plan free for 14 days, with no credit card, and cancel any time in Settings. Call (973) 352-0952 and one of the two founders answers. Quotera is not connected to other products or companies called Quotera or similar names.
